Who Do You Talk To? And How?

What if you've tried open communication, asked questions, tried to clear the air -- but none of it has solved the problem?

What do you do? Who should you talk to?

Small or large, miscommunication or catastrophe -- you need to talk to someone to put your concerns into perspective and to begin to find a solution.

Click here for information on how to decide to whom to go with your concerns , or follow the left hand side link "Who?" How to begin a discussion about the problem. Also included is an overview of grievance procedures at the department, college and university levels.

We also provide you with the names of those people on the program, department and college level, key people in administration and those in the Graduate Student Assembly who are happy to talk to you and can help you get started on a solution. You'll see that there are plenty of people available to talk to about any concern you may have.

Finally, we also provide some sample concerns, to show you the kinds of issues that graduate students have sought help with in the past.
