At Carnegie Mellon, through the generous gifts of alumni, an Emergency Student Loan service is made available through the office of the Dean of Student Affairs.
Emergency Student Loans are:
- Interest free
- Repayable within 30 days
- Available for enrolled students
They can be used for:
- Academic supplies
- Medication
- Food
- Other unforeseeable circumstances
