The Black Graduate Student Organization (BGSO) is a support group for graduate students of color as they pursue academic excellence on the campus of Carnegie Mellon University.
The BGSO:
- Provides students with cultural, academic, and professional support
- Inspires members to be active leaders in the CMU and Pittsburgh communities
- Members are of various ethnic backgrounds and academic disciplines
- Members are committed to support, service, and fellowship
